Radio Frequency Coordination
The FCC will only accept applications for most two-way radio system licenses from an FCC-Certified Frequency Coordinator. AAR Frequency Coordination is the designated Frequency Coordinator for the railroad frequencies, and is also certified for the General Business Pool. We accept the application, review it for completeness and to ensure technical adherence to the FCC Part 90 Rules and Regulations, approve or select appropriate frequencies to limit interference, and submit it electronically to the FCC using the FCC Form 601.
